I really wanted to fall in love with this book and almost did. The chemistry between Knox and Harper was hot, funny and intense. The fact that Knox kept calling Harper his anchor over and over was really annoying to the point of ok we get it.The book started out slow and boring for me(why I wouldn't have given a 5 star review) and then it got good. Really good. Harper stood up to Knox and really never backed down. Her witty comebacks made me laugh. I loved the way Knox slowly started realizing she was more than just his anchor. I thought when Lucien entered the picture was just hilarious. I would love the back story of him and Jolene. I kept turning the pages, anxious to find out who was behind everything. Then the book ended. Even though there was a HEA, there wasn't. Harper and Knox's story continues in the next book. I assumed that the series would continue with the other characters but no. I don't like reading books that you wind up buying more books for the storyline, therefore this book gets 3 stars instead of 4.
