I went into this book with high hopes because fake boyfriends is one of my favorite tropes. Sadly the author had nothing new to bring to this genre.The prosThe steamy scenes were very well done and I like that both guys were pretty much the same size.ConsThis book lacked a good editor. Both line editing and developmental editing. It was plagued by endless run on sentences, long winded description and excruciating details of mundane actions. Proper punctuation would also have been appreciated.I can believe they got from the front desk to the room without half a page describing the trip.The whole first 40% could have been shortened to two chapters, one backstory and one inciting incident for the fake relationship.There were no cute or funny moments that make a book stand out from the crowd.Noah was over serious and boring. His rules were pointless ("No falling in love?" Seriously?)As usual with the "gay for you" trope the supposedly straight guy switches sides to gay sex without the slightest hesitation. Which I find highly unlikely. I also fail to see how they have been living together for four years since they kissed and neither initiated a repeat.I probably won't be seeking out more books by this author.
